Digital Media Academy is a leading innovator in technology education in year-round curriculum and immersive experiences. We were founded in 1999 at Stanford University to provide technology-based professional development for K-12 teachers and technology immersion courses for students. In 2002, the Academy for New Media became Digital Media Academy and we greatly expanded our technology education programs and locations including Harvard, Oxford, Toronto, NYU and other elite campuses. Based in Silicon Valley, we engage leaders in tech and business and experts in academia in developing programs that give students the skill and confidence to be tech savvy and future ready. Our courses are infused with design thinking and exciting real-world projects that fuel creativity, hone soft skills collaboration and spark innovation. Among the more than 150,000 of the brightest students from all over the world, many attend top universities and have careers at leading tech companies. Digital Media Academy operates at the world’s most elite universities, including Stanford, Harvard, Toronto and Oxford. Our world-class courses and curriculum is delivered in one- and two-week full-day immersive and intensive seasonal programs called Tech Camps; and through our Certified Schools program for year-round, K-12 technology curriculum that integrates into common core subjects.

The Minerva education system enables effective lifelong learning with partner institutions through its pedagogy, scaffolded curriculum design, and proprietary Forum learning environment. From aiding leadership training initiatives, developing active learning curricula, and helping academic institutions scale, the Minerva Project leads in education innovation. The Minerva Project was established in 2012 and partnered with the Keck Graduate Institute in 2013 to establish the Minerva Schools at KGI, a four-year undergraduate program and a part-time Master of Science graduate program. The Minerva Project provides the Forum, infrastructure, and support services for the Minerva Schools at KGI.
