Build and operate centralized security systems, automation, tooling, and controls. Secure cloud infrastructure, identity, and access; assess products, partners, and vendors; guide engineering teams; develop AI-powered security tools; lead external assessments and remediation; and participate in incident response. The role also addresses blockchain security, smart contracts, onchain monitoring, and fintech security challenges.

Own application security for backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and edge systems handling financial transactions. Responsibilities include validating red-team findings, writing security fixes, managing WAF and abuse defenses, creating automated security baselines, expanding pull-request security gates, reviewing architectures, assessing attack surfaces, and selecting security tools. The role requires hands-on TypeScript/Node.js, cloud security, Terraform, threat modeling, and the ability to influence engineering decisions.
