Job Summary
The Assistant Engineer supports the engineering team in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining systems, products, or infrastructure. The role involves assisting senior engineers with technical tasks, preparing reports, performing analysis, and ensuring projects are completed according to technical standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.
- Support senior engineers in technical analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare technical drawings, documentation, and reports.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections, data collection, and performance evaluations of systems or equipment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in maintenance, quality checks, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer Science, or relevant field).
- Basic knowledge of engineering tools, software, and technical processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and work under supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with technical documentation and reporting.
- Experience with project coordination or internships in engineering roles.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards relevant to the industry.
