The Associate Director of Partnerships & Influencers is an incredible opportunity to help shape this special brand and develop it into a global icon.
This leader will drive a Partnerships & Influencer strategy that authentically reinforces our brand values while connecting with and shaping culture. The role will focus on seeking, signing, and solidifying relationships with the most authentic influencers and brand partners. From planet + people advocacy to building style credibility -- it's all about finding the right people & partners and telling powerful and distinct stories that break through and leave long lasting and sustainable impact.
We’re looking for someone who is willing to think outside the box; brings existing relationships across entertainment, community, media or other relevant industries; and has brand management / strategy experience. This person is innovative -- with the ability to work with different budgets, is results oriented, and has the pulse on consumer trends.
What does the job entail?
- Develop and champion our influencer strategy in support of the overall business and brand objectives
- Lead the team in creating opportunities for both globally relevant programs and country-specific partnerships
- Work collaboratively with local marketing managers on the evaluation and successful implementation of local influencer & partnership programs via toolkits and guidelines
- Manage partnership contract negotiations on behalf of Allbirds, in conjunction with in-house Legal and Merchandising team
- Share best practices and innovative creative solutions for building differentiated brand relationships, with a continuous pulse on current trends and noteworthy activities
- Focus team efforts to ensure efficiencies, prioritize projects, align resources and measure results
What kind of person are we looking for?
- 8+ years of brand and/or influencer experience, with a proven track record of high-quality execution and compelling relationship building – with a particular emphasis on social media and events integration
- Strong knowledge of and connection to fashion, lifestyle, and culture brands
- Excellent ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across companies, teams and functions to drive results
- Practical experience managing a global brand and collaborating with various stakeholders to balance global consistency with local relevancy
- Experience managing third party partners, agencies, and freelancers
- Highly organized with good project management skills. Able to juggle multiple, and sometimes, conflicting priorities and needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Can thrive in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
- Skilled in delivering compelling presentations via Keynote and Google Slides
