Where we need help:

We are rapidly expanding our global team, and are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic recruiting leader to help us scale our flock. We’re a small, nimble recruiting team and need someone who can take on a req load, lead our existing TA team, enable our already-passionate hiring teams to be more effective, and steward hiring at all levels. We have a highly cross-functional workplace, and our hiring teams care deeply about recruiting, and are very engaged in the process. Help us scale the programs and processes that support Allbirds growth as a global, sustainability-focused company and creative leader in the retail and product industry.

What you'll do:

Recruiting Operations:

  • Lead the core global operational processes for the talent acquisition team and ensure success by building and delivering processes, tools, and other support systems 
  • Evaluate current recruiting programs and processes and introduce new opportunities that will help Allbirds scale in the coming months and years.
  • Deliver a best in class candidate experience, ensuring we hire for our mission and values in every hire. 
  • Drive excellence in our assessment process, including interview design, ongoing interviewer training, and interviewer effectiveness
  • Oversee metrics and analytics to guide shared understanding and continuous improvement around talent pipelines, funnel, and hiring KPI's

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow our small but mighty team and manage external resources for additional support.
  • Partner with leaders across all teams to help them grow their teams with intention and efficiency, keeping in place high standards for culture, diversity, and professional background

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years experience recruiting operations in a fast-paced environment
  • 4+ years managing a recruiting function or leading a team of recruiters preferred
  • A self starter and operational mindset and understanding of how to implement strategic improvements 
  • Experience in project and program management
  • Skill at prioritizing and implementing strategic roadmaps to meet goals for next quarter, next year, and beyond
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable talking to a candidate for a summer internship, director of marketing, or floor lead for a new store 
  • Experience in working with creative tech and retail teams a plus
