Grammarly offers a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members can work primarily remotely. Starting in 2022, teams will meet in person every quarter in one of Grammarly’s hubs, currently in San Francisco, Vancouver, New York, and Kyiv. To ensure that teams are able to overlap in their working hours and to meet face-to-face when needed, all team members need to live within three time zones of their direct team.
Grammarly team members who will be collaborating at our San Francisco hub must be based in the United States.
The opportunity
Grammarly empowers people to thrive and connect whenever and wherever they communicate. Every day, 30 million people and 30,000 teams around the world use our AI-powered writing assistant. All of this begins with our team collaborating in a values-driven and learning-oriented environment.
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a B2B Creative Strategist to join our Creative Strategy team. This person will work with Grammarly Business leadership, channel partners, and the Demand Generation Marketing team where appropriate to establish a holistic creative strategy.
Your impact
As the B2B Creative Strategist, you will help evolve our campaign-development process. You will handle the multi-tasking and prioritization of requests and will manage feedback cycles from various teams. You will also help increase our campaign velocity while maintaining the highest creative standards that effectively represent the Grammarly Business brand.
In this role, you will:
- Learn and connect: You will master the company’s creative brief process and learn the history of creative campaign production within the company, including current project DRIs and vendors. You’ll become deeply familiar with Grammarly’s product offerings, users, marketing, and design philosophies. You will also lay the foundation for productive working relationships across the broader Marketing team, Design team, and key vendor relationships.
- Prioritize and plugin: Based on learnings over the first 30 days, you will work with the Creative Strategy Manager and Head of Brand to identify near- and medium-term focus areas that balance upcoming campaign milestones, ongoing investments, and quick wins for the function. You will get into consistent rhythms and methods of working with marketing and team leads and enabling consistent flows of production information to the broader Marketing team.
- Handle all B2B campaign development processes and external communication as well as internal reporting to Growth leads. You will also collaborate on campaign strategy with Creative Strategy, Brand, and Demand Gen leads.
- Evolve and expand: You will work cross-functionally across the Marketing and Creative Strategy teams to identify, scope, and prioritize opportunities for ongoing campaigns and assets that increase customer awareness and adoption of Grammarly Business product offerings. You will understand and begin planning to support additional campaign streams, including resourcing, collaboration, and capacity needs. You will execute campaign strategy for the remainder of 2021.
- Increase Grammarly’s B2B strategy efforts and support a full-funnel campaign strategy for 2022. You will manage agency relationships and provide strategic support to execute campaign deliverables. You will learn new systems to improve brand marketing function, including continuing to evolve campaign content by introducing new concepts and technologies.
We’re looking for someone who
- Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
- Can speak campaign production jargon with internal and external stakeholders.
- Expresses ideas in new and compelling ways—and is not satisfied with the status quo or finds ways to improve subtle monotonous concepts with an innovative approach.
- Recognizes what makes a good brand campaign and can talk all day about the execution and distinct details of what made it successful.
- Stays up to date on trends within the marketing industry (B2B preferred).
- Is on top of production and marketing lexicons and is able to communicate effectively with in-house and external partners.
- Has a strong command of strategy frameworks and has either developed them previously or has worked off-brand guidelines, creative briefs, customer insights, and performance data.
Support for you, professionally and personally
- Professional growth: We hire people we trust, and we give team members autonomy to do their best work. We also support professional development with training, coaching, and regular feedback.
- A connected team: Grammarly builds a product that helps people connect, and we apply this mindset to our own team. We have a highly collaborative culture supported by our EAGER values. We also take time to celebrate our colleagues and accomplishments with global, local, and team-specific events and programs.
- Comprehensive benefits: Grammarly offers all team members competitive pay along with a benefits package that includes superior health care. We also offer support to set up a home office, ample and defined time off, gym and recreation stipends, admission discounts, and more.

Please note that Grammarly’s COVID-19 vaccination policy requires that all team members in North America be vaccinated against COVID-19 to meet in person for Grammarly business or to work from a North America hub location. It is expected that this will be a requirement for this role. Qualified candidates in North America who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons or because of a sincerely held religious belief may request a reasonable accommodation to this policy. For Ukraine, this policy requires team members to be vaccinated or produce a daily negative COVID-19 test administered at the Kyiv hub to work from the hub or attend in-person meetings.
