About this role
The Billing and Collection Specialist will report to the Billing and Collections Lead and work closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure that our customers are billed accurately and work with them to get Remind paid quickly. In this role you will be in contact with our customers on a daily basis to provide top notch service to help them resolve any billing issues or questions. Additionally, you’ll utilize your communication and investigative skills to manage collection efforts on delinquent accounts.
Note: We are looking for someone who is located in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone regions for this role.
About you:
- You have in depth Billing and AR Operations experience and preferably experience at a SaaS company, processing high transaction volumes
- You have prior experience working with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Salesforce and Netsuite
- You’re highly organized with an ability to execute with excellent attention to detail
- You have ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments and processes
What you’ll do:
- Review customer contracts to ensure they adhere to company policies
- Execute on the invoice process from booking the invoice to payment application
- Manage all customer interactions related to billing, including routing customer compliance forms, responding to customer billing questions and following up with accounts on past due balances
- Provide accurate, timely reporting to finance and accounting teams, and participate in monthly close process
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting on activities, delinquent customers and payments to Finance and Accounting teams
