The Business Operations and Systems Strategy (BOSS) team develops and implements strategic initiatives for Fictiv that remove inefficiencies and improve productivity by analyzing workflow impact for Operations and key interfacing teams such as Finance, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Customer Support.

The Business Operations and Systems Strategy (BOSS) team defines the future of Fictiv (an innovative leader in product manufacturing). BOSS is the driving differentiator between traditional contract manufacturing and how Fictiv is disrupting and reducing the inefficiencies/prohibitive costs traditionally constraining new product development.

You will report to the Director of Business Operations and Systems Strategy, striving to move the needle on strategic initiatives by delivering on key strategic milestones. You will be focused primarily on Business Process improvement, Strategic Sourcing and Global Logistics, Costing and Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Order Fulfillment and Quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify inefficient systems processes through data analysis and qualitative user research and generate system and process strategies to eliminate inefficiencies and help streamline critical process paths.
  • Perform business process gap analysis on existing systems and processes and provide recommended solutions. Analyze and build end-to-end processes based on business goals.
  • Establish data visualization dashboards on KPIs and customized reports and develop creative solutions to apply business logic and ensure that collected data is within required quality standards.
  • Execute on cross-functional plans for initiatives, clearly and transparently communicating upwards and outwards
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, finance, and engineering on the development, QA, and release of products and processes to ensure a successful rollout across the entire organization
  • Development of training materials and execute training for internal and external stakeholders during system and process implementation
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams, and each functional team to drive the success of new implementations, provide training and support.
  • Collaborate with the business and change management teams to ensure business readiness and transfer knowledge for any new process/system.
  • Develop and release controlled procedures for new feature launches and process updates
  • Assist the Director of BOS and the BOS Manager in defining business requirements, system validation, process documentation, and implementation of system and process enhancements.

  • Ability to set up, facilitate, and lead service and process improvement sessions with a range of business stakeholders (incl. experience of process/value stream mapping)
  • Experience performing live training sessions for internal and external stakeholders during system and process implementation.
  • Provide deep analytic support and business context to identify and drive critical growth initiatives.
