ABOUT THE TEAM:

We are a nimble team of engineers who are responsible for evolving PAX’s core business systems and developing scalable solutions to solve problems that directly impact how we scale our finance, commercial, and supply chain operations to meet the demand of our consumers in a fast growing market.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a good dose of ‘can do’ attitude and has demonstrated a successful track record of working with finance, commercial, and supply chain teams to develop automated solutions to address operational needs effectively.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the PAX Software Engineer - Business Technology you will:

• Design and develop internal facing applications that fulfill unique functional requirements for finance, eCommerce, and supply chain teams.
• Identify and automate manual processes that can be automated by better tooling/integrations.
• Take ownership over the technical direction of our business systems including ERP, Salesforce, EDI, payment processors and other SaaS applications.
• Assist in the creation of data pipelines and data warehouse needs for reporting.
• Split your time between working with stakeholders to identify problems and solutions, managing systems, developing tools and integrations, and maintaining relationships and managing work with different vendors. 
• Create and maintain technical systems documentation, and process flows.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software and systems engineering experience.
• Proficient in writing clean, testable, and concise code in at least one programming language such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with finance, sales and supply chain teams.
• Proficient in SQL query authoring and reporting using RedShift and BI tools.
• Experience working with Acumatica ERP and prior Salesforce administration is a plus.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
