The Clinical Research Services team is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Clinical Research Manager (CRM) to take on the role of CRC Lead for a specific clinical research study. You will play a critical leadership role in overseeing a large matrixed team of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) responsible for working directly with participants in the conduct of a decentralized study where Evidation will act as the virtual site and CRO. We are looking for 2 resources to cover Mon-Sat, 6AM PT - 5PM PT.
This is a Contractor position (estimated 30-40 hours per week for 8 months).
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of CRCs, ensuring efficient and effective study conduct according to protocols, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for CRCs on our decentralized study protocol, virtual visits, data collection methods, participant engagement strategies, device troubleshooting, and compliance.
- Oversee all aspects of CRC activities, including participant enrollment, informed consent, virtual visits, data collection, and adverse event reporting.
- Work directly with 3rd party staff augmentation vendor (WCG), including escalations and planning start and end dates for certain team members according to study demand.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to CRCs, while fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the Principal Investigator (PI) and study sponsors to ensure successful study execution.
- Manage study budgets and timelines, ensuring milestones are met and resources are utilized efficiently.
- Participate in site-wide quality assurance activities and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive study reports and documentation for internal sponsor meetings.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in decentralized and hybrid clinical trial methodologies and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Clinical Research Manager or related role, with a strong focus on supervising CRCs.
- Clinical research management experience must include at least one people-manager role (with direct reports).
- Professional experience must include serving as a team leader with accountability and oversight of 10+ team members. These team members could be matrixed or direct reports.
- Proven experience working on decentralized and/or hybrid clinical research studies is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements for clinical research.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The US base hiring range for this contract position is $200-$210/hour + benefits through the contracting agency. The actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including work location, experience, training, and skill level, so pay for this role may be higher or lower than what is shown on this posting.
