The Role:
The Creative Production and Studio Director is responsible for managing Minted’s internal production studio and facilitating all internal Minted workstreams that bring best-in-class photography and video to life. This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations & Production and cross-functionally with many teams across the organization, including but not limited to Marketing, Brand Strategy, and Creative.

You Will:
- Help build and nurture a multidisciplinary production team that includes Producers, Editors, Retouchers, and Photographers/Videographers
- Lead all operations of the Minted Studio, including facility management and future growth
- Manage overall Studio schedule and trafficking, resourcing, budget and status reporting, acting as liaison between the Studio and other areas of the company. This includes design, photography, videography, retouching, copywriting, and production
- Work closely with our Sr. Director of Operations & Production to find opportunities to standardize production methods and improve the content-production process
- Work closely with Minted stakeholders across product/business verticals, Digital Experience Design, Brand Marketing, and Product on scheduling, scoping and resourcing to work together successfully during the production phase
- Leverage your extensive network of vendors and freelance talent across different sectors
- Ensure all creative production workstreams are executed at the highest level and always meet Minted’s brand standards
- Manage content rights and releases, building an accurate records archive and process to ensure compliance and protect the company's intellectual property
- Oversee proper digital organization & archiving of all creative deliverables
You Are:
- Creative, curious, and passionate about design and taste making
- Experienced in working with Creative Directors to bring creative from concept to final deliverables, on-time and on-budget
- An expert in the craft of photography and well-versed in the business of image making
- Exceptionally organized and able to coordinate multiple shoots at different stages of development
- A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and drive results in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines
- Highly process-focused with ability to own and drive the roadmap with internal and external teams
- Deeply curious and constantly staying abreast of new production technologies and techniques
- Inspired by the potential of making great art more widely accessible
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience as a Managing Director, Director of Production, or Studio Director, with background in client services and content creation
- Proven people leadership with a talent for hiring, mentoring and empowering individuals
- A passion for design and a desire to build a career in a creative company and industry
- Extensive understanding of content-production processes across multiple mediums including digital, video, TV, print, etc.
- Experience working on an e-commerce or lifestyle brand
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines, while paying attention to details and executing flawlessly
- Outstanding follow-up, organization, and time management skills
- Experience managing a team and collaborating across multiple disciplines and areas of expertise
- A deep appreciation for art and design and how that can enrich people’s lives
- Experience negotiating contracts with creative talent and resources
