As a Database Administrator / Leader defining our Data Operations Team, your talent is instrumental in creating and evolving our data services in all aspects of Smule, both in the cloud and on-premise. Responsibilities:

• design the future of data at Smule, including SQL, NoSQL, and Cloud
• maintain production and development MySQL and Vitess clusters
• meet expectations for business continuance and disaster recovery through
  backups and redundant environments

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of production MySQL database administration
• fluency in scripting and other programming languages
• ability to function as a leader within a team
• high-level of communication skills
• able to interface and guide developers

Bonus Skills:

• experience with Redis
• experience with Cassandra
• experience growing a company
