As Manager, Device Experience you will report to Omada’s Senior Director of Member Operations and Device Strategy and be responsible for ensuring Omada’s connected devices are driving value for our members, for our care teams, and for Omada. To do this, you will partner with leaders across Omada to define our device strategy and deliver the device experiences we intend for our members and our care teams. Facilitating productive cross-functional relationships to drive an improved overall device experience will be a core responsibility for this role including working with Product, Engineering, Clinical, Clinical Operations, Health Coaching Operations, Member Support, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, and our Legal, Regulatory, & Compliance teams.  You will work on projects with 3 different planning horizons:  tactical (operationalizing and scaling incident and request processes with our Member Support team), short-term (increasing member engagement measured by activation working with the Care Delivery and Product teams), and long-term (how Omada positions devices in its integrated virtual clinic working with the Commercial team).  


Your impact:

  • Evangelize the importance of device use alongside the software and human components of our product amongst a broad stakeholder group including our Commercial, Marketing, Product, Care Delivery, and Clinical teams
  • Lead efforts to define effective device usage patterns and execute initiatives to increase usage of devices by developing and monitoring goals and KPIs
    • Own the Omada-designed aspects of our device experience partnering with Product Design and Clinical to ensure the device experience for our members is conducive to desired device usage patterns
    • Own, iterate on and deliver device performance metrics to the Supply Chain team as a component of vendor management and make improvements based on performance data as a feedback loop
    • Ensure cross-functional stakeholders understand the current usage patterns for our devices and how they compare to our desired usage patterns
    • Partner with FP&A to monitor the ROI from our investment in devices and ensure our device strategy and overall device experience is supporting our revenue goals
  • Lead efforts to define and implement near-term and long-term strategies for our device offering 
    • Establish and document cross-functional needs for device performance relative to available solutions in the market and align requirements for existing and new device offerings with the Supply Chain team
    • Stay abreast of new connected device technologies and developments in healthcare related to home monitoring of health information
    • Partner on NPI processes with the Supply Chain team when new devices are adopted to execute against the defined device strategy
  • Ensure our Commercial and Marketing teams are able to accurately and effectively represent our device offering in the market
    • Support efforts to better leverage our device offering as part of Omada’s demand generation and sales processes
    • Own the feedback loop to improve our device offering and messaging based on feedback from the market
  • Ensure our Care Delivery and Clinical Service teams have a comprehensive understanding of our device offering and device functionality
    • Develop resources and trainings on our device offering and device functionality for Omada’s health care professionals (health coaches, specialists, and health care providers)
    • Develop resources and trainings to enable our Member Support team to effectively manage member issues related to our devices


You will be successful in this job if you:

  • Have implemented and/or operated a remote patient monitoring program using FDA regulated medical devices
  • Have worked tactically AND on short and long-term strategic projects
  • Experience improving user adoption and retention for connected devices
  • Are anchored in data-driven decision making, have established KPIs and implemented continuous improvement initiatives measured with KPIs
  • Minimum of 3-years in a role requiring broad pan-organizational cross-functional collaboration and coordination, with 5-8+ years of professional experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling strong alignment with partners and navigation of conflict constructively
  • Efficient and effective communication and presentation abilities, with ability to tailor approach to best reach intended audience
  • Solutions-oriented strategic thinker with a bias for action who can easily identify high-priority, high-impact projects and drive projects to completion
  • Ability to navigate uncertainty with agility and maintain appropriate forward momentum with strong core team engagement
