Job Description:
WideOrbit is looking for a DevOps Engineer with CI/CD expertise to implement, maintain and constantly improve our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) eco-system. We have an exciting opportunity to improve and re-use our CI/CD infrastructure across multiple products and advertising platforms. You will work with development, product and operations teams to ensure high reliability and security of our high-scale web services. Along with a multi-disciplinary team of talented cloud engineers, you will ensure that the entire release process delivers highly available services to our customers. Help us increase our deployment velocity by creating a fast and reliable flow from Development to Production!
Here is what success will look like:
• Architect, document, implement and optimize the CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines for multiple products.
• Work closely with Dev to ensure proper and adequate testing of high volume controlled release of new bits go to production within a systematic process.
• Monitor build and release processes and underlying server and network availability, capacity and performance.
• Work directly with support, operations and development teams to resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis to mitigate classes of production problems.
• Manage our source code, test/QA automation and release tools to stay within SOC1/SOC2 compliance requirements
• You have the ability to work effectively under pressure and balance competing tasks in a rapidly changing environment
• You know how to set direction and collaboratively work with Dev in achieving goals. Ambiguity doesn’t scare you. You see it as an opportunity to define the future.
• You automate things rather than doing them twice.
• You can lead a project yourself as well as implement.
To achieve success, we’re looking for:
• 5+ years-experience building and releasing software for highly available cloud services.
• Knowledge of TeamCity, Octopus is highly preferred. Experience with Spinnaker, Terraform, Helm, Jenkins is a plus.
• Docker, EKS/GKE, Kubernetes – you’ve orchestrated it all.
• The operating system is just one part of the ecosystem. You're well versed in the rest (networking, storage, DBs, etc).
• Experience with Istio, traffic management and software load balancers is a plus
• Knowledge of Windows PowerShell is required. Other languages such as C#, Java, and Python is a major plus.
• Good Windows and Linux fundamentals. Understanding of web services/distributed systems and their common associated problems.

This position will be based in our Lynnwood, WA, or San Francisco, CA offices. Telecommute/Remote will be considered.
