The Opportunity at Komodo Health
The mission of the Director of IT is to develop Komodo Health’s Enterprise Systems and organize our internal information to enable decision support for each of our functional teams.
That covers 3 key areas:
- Network, Devices and systems support & management
- Data warehouse and Analytics tools
- Enterprise Applications integration
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…
Enterprise Warehouse and Business Intelligence
- Collaboratively developed, with all of Komodo Health’s function leaders, a Enterprise Warehouse that enables the answering of top business operations questions and real time reporting of key KPIs.
- Established standard reporting and analytical guidelines and practices across the organization for both the Analytics team and cross-functional subject matter experts
- Contributed to the business intelligence strategic plan and roadmap for data architecture, data governance, master data management, BI environment and tools
Enterprise Systems, Network and Support
- Provided strategic and operational leadership ensuring stable operation and supportability or Komodo Health’s Information Systems
- Accounted for day-to-day IT support functions of End User Support Services & critical global applications including:
- Core Enterprise Applications (Netsuite, SFDC, Workday, etc..)
- Core Productivity & Collaboration Solutions (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
- Office Technology (Data Networks - Wired & Wireless, Audio Visual Printing)
- End User Computing Support (Laptops, Desktops, VDI, Remote Access)
- Asset Management (Software Licensing, Laptops, Desktops)
- Influenced IT service design and recommend associated policies that safeguard data, protect end users, and support service delivery across the enterprise
Enterprise Applications
- Created a roadmap for internal systems integration, including resolving the “make vs. buy” development and “integrated platform vs. best-of-breed” integration ROI decisions.
- Automated Cross Application integration workflows
What you bring to Komodo:
- Extensive experience in IT Management, with most recent experience being in senior leadership and management
- Strong track record of leveraging technology to modernize and optimize business processes
- Deep experience in one or more of the following technologies/stacks:
- Data Warehousing
- Data & Application Integration
- BI implementation
- Service Desk Management
- End User Computing
- Software & Hardware Asset Management
- Project Management
- Networking & Telecom
- Security
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with ability to bring clarity to complexity and communicate customer needs, architectural requirements, and product goals across cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to ruthlessly prioritize between what we could do vs what we should do
- Experience as a leader with proven ability to collaborate and influence others in a highly cross-matrixed environment
- Unparalleled ability to balance zooming out to see the big picture, and zooming in to roll up the sleeves and deliver flawless execution
- A thirst for knowledge, willingness to learn and a growth-oriented mindset
