Responsibilities of the role:

As our Director of Marketing Planning and Activation, you’ll lead integrated go-to-market campaign strategies and executions that deliver top-of-funnel brand awareness and drive purchase consideration of Masterclass.

  • Support the business objectives and strategy, by leading end-to-end orchestration of integrated marketing plans and key activation moments.
  • Leverage market and customer insights to develop an integrated marketing strategy, campaign architecture, and channel mix both online and offline to drive customer engagement and conversions.
  • Develop and strategize campaign themes for quarterly and year-long time frames and ensure alignment and relevance across regions
  • Responsible for initiative/campaign plans and briefs, developed in collaboration with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and business partners, that are aligned to overarching go-to-market strategies, marketing plans, and annual goals/priorities
  • Partner with content marketing and corporate communications to develop thought leadership strategies, story arcs & buyer’s journeys using data insights to develop market-specific content to drive visibility and meet campaign goals.
  • Develop end to end project plan and timeline of key milestones and deliverables and project manage deliverables timelines
  • Partner with marketing operations to develop and report out on campaign performance, delivering insights for optimization
  • Evaluate the campaign performance and adjust the strategy with subject matter experts.


What we are looking for:


We are looking for someone with a great track record of success who can bring their experience and ability to adapt to situations into the company. We are looking for someone who has a passion for building high-performing campaigns with data-driven decision-making.

As well as this the following are required;

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar position
  • At least 7 years building, overseeing, and developing a diverse team responsible for go to market or product marketing functions
  • Proven experience managing advertising campaigns and go to market timelines
  • Experience in executing campaign processes that can drive consistent approaches to multiple campaigns live at the same time
  • Demonstrated experience with managing and implementing integrated campaign initiatives that will scale to support the requirements of a growing company
  • Excellent quantitative data analysis and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to analyze, interpret data, and use insights to inform marketing campaigns and make recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
