Narvar is growing! We are hiring a Director of Product Management to develop and execute a product strategy and roadmap for the Narvar platform. This is an opportunity to work closely with the product and engineering managers across all Narvar applications to deliver unified experiences to merchants, prioritize core services and define strategy for 3rd party built components. 

As a Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for defining our product strategy across a portfolio of core Narvar applications, such as order tracking and product returns. Our ideal candidate will have already led teams to build successful SaaS products – both mobile and web - in agile software development environments. You will guide new product development through all stages of the product life cycle, from identification of customer needs and product definition through development, launch, and sustainment. This is a highly cross-functional role and will work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, professional services, and business operations teams. Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Define the communications and notifications product strategy and roadmap for both our push features (email, SMS, etc.) and fully-branded tracking pages as well as 3rd party integrations.  
  • Lead and inspire a team of talented product management experts, enabling high performance and removing obstacles to attainment of their objectives
  • Attract and develop top talent, paving the way for the next generation of product management leaders.
  • Facilitate decision-making across cross-functional teams to deliver products that drive aggressive user and business growth.
  • Oversee PM efforts across products/teams from ideation through launch, and continuing through ongoing maintenance and support.
  • Serve as a driving force for innovation in the client and end user experience, while offering the simplest and best UX for hundreds of millions of consumers.
  • Deliver insightful product recommendations to business leaders and the executive team in a persuasive and thoughtful manner.
  • Implement best-in-class product management processes to increase team velocity, quality, and accountability.
  • Monitor market conditions and the competitive landscape in the rapidly changing retail and logistics spaces, and identify key issues impacting our product pipeline.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams of product managers 
  • 8+ years product management experience delivering enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Shipped creative and highly successful self-serve products in B2B or consumer tech.
  • Leadership - proven ability to set a vision, excite and lead a cross-functional engineering team.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead and develop a team of high-performing product managers (direct reports)
  • Substantial experience working in e-commerce; familiarity with retail and/or logistics a plus
  • Track record of creating innovative and winning B2B2C solutions, with particular strengths in developing impactful consumer experiences
  • Ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals
  • Ability to lead and work autonomously 
  • Creative thinker who can generate and execute on innovative product ideas
  • Skilled in providing analysis and estimation of the strategic and financial value of new products and features
  • Empowering and engaging management style
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
