Job Description

As the leader in API enabled Legal Documentation, Rocket Lawyer is obsessively focused on our mission of bringing affordability and accessibility of justice to those for whom it is out of reach. We are an organization who recognizes talent as the difference maker in all great organizations. As we continue to scale globally, we are looking for a seasoned veteran to own the search and acquisition of the highest quality talent. In this role you will report into the Vice President of People Operations, and operate as a key member of the People Operations Leadership team. Operating as a strategic partner to Senior Business Leaders will be critical to success in this role. 

This Leader will need to have a strategic, innovative, and operational approach to recruiting. This Rocket Lawyer leader will be instrumental in capitalizing on our momentum and identifying opportunities for the growth and success to accelerate. The ideal candidate should have experience in best in class in recruiting practices and proven experience in scaling a recruiting function in a high-growth organization.

Objectives of this Role

• Responsible for the Rocket Lawyer Recruiting strategy, with a focus on enhancing and building on the quality and diversity of our talent landscape.
• Optimize and develop a team of recruiters and coordinators for ongoing growth and development of the function
• Operate as a thought leader through innovation and creativity in attracting top technical talent
• Design a metric driven framework for the measurement of critical KPIs, applying talent and recruiting to revenue, customers, and business initiatives
• Develop a cadence and tool for reporting recruiting insights which includes, but not limited to Talent ROI, candidate quality, and effectiveness of recruiting team 
• Build strong and strategic relationships with the Leaders of the business, serving as the advisor on the strategic acquisition and retention of highly sought after talent, candidate insights, and market trends 
• Lead the organization’s employment branding efforts, positioning ourselves in the market as the leading online legal service platform in the world 
• Architect a strategy for the investment of early talent through a University Program -- building an internal funnel of talent for growth and development internally

Skills and Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years experience in Talent Acquisition
• 5+ years of experience in a Leadership role
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• International Experience
