 About the Role:


Quizlet is looking for a creative and data-driven Growth Marketing Manager, to grow our global user base of active users globally and grow our subscriptions strategy through paid channels. You’ll execute campaigns and experiment across channels paid social, ASO, affiliate, OOH, TV and more. In addition to managing the channel strategy, you’ll work with product marketing on customer insights, community on opportunities for grassroots growth, and other departments to drive new initiatives to launch. 

In this role, you will:

  • Own our channel strategy for new subscriber acquisition while keeping ROAS in-line
  • Help to own a multi-million dollar paid media budget effectively balancing acquisition and brand building efforts across all channels (digital, traditional and emerging platforms) both domestically and abroad 
  • Partner with Analytics to develop and maintain best-in-class attribution models to measure, report on and optimize media mix, efficiently and cost-effectively acquiring new users and subscribers
  • Work closely with the Brand Studio team to develop, test, and optimize campaign messaging to achieve acquisition objectives
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing and Communications to plan, develop and execute coordinated campaigns to improve performance on paid channels
  • Inform product development and improvements to support activation, onboarding and engagement supporting A/B tests and analyzing results
  • Develop and execute paid campaigns to drive international user growth

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years working in digital marketing with at least 3 spent in digital paid media
  • Experience creating and managing campaigns across a variety of channels including paid social, demand side platforms, search, display, TV, and more
  • Deep understanding of funnels, conversion, and the levers you can pull to drive growth, with a focus on acquisition and activation
  • Quantitative and analytical abilities: you can pull your own data to answer your questions, and develop insights to take action from that data 
  • A penchant for translating your skills to new channels and projects: you tackle new challenges strategically by managing campaigns from conception to execution
  • Record of developing and executing A/B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Analytics, and Data Science teams

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience writing SQL queries and proficiency with data visualization tools (Periscope and Appsflyer) 
  • Understanding of incrementality testing

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

  • Colorado candidates: Base pay for this role starts at $110,000. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience
