Narvar is growing! We are hiring a Head of Commercial Business to lead our SMB sales team to grow our commercial customer base, leading one of two strategic focus areas for the business. You are an entrepreneurial business leader who can flex between getting close to the customer and thinking from a process standpoint to scale our growing commercial sector. You get to partner with our amazing sales team members as well as customer success, product and logistics.
Day-to-day
- Lead the commercial sales team as a direct manager, supporting the team with coaching and problem-solving on an operational level to remove impediments to team success
- Develop and socialize process to support a quickly scaling line of business
- Partner with the team to surface customer feedback and make recommendations to product team to better support this line of business
- Work across the organization to optimize customer experience and support through automation, documentation and other approaches to scale the commercial business
What we’re looking for
- 2 years of management experience
- Track record of success leading and scaling a commercial / SMB business unit
- Expertise in transactional sales models, including process and team management
- Broad business acumen applied across a range of business functions to support partnership in a cross functional context
Bonus Points
- Retail SaaS or marketing SaaS experience
- Innate ability to empathize with the customer and translate that empathy into repeatable and scalable experiences
