THE CHALLENGE
Eventbrite has built a world class platform for event creators, enabling creators around the world to build and grow their live event businesses on Eventbrite. We are looking for a Head of Product Marketing to own how we communicate the value of our product and services to our customers, lead our global go-to-market strategy, and manage and grow a team of world-class product marketers.
THE TEAM
The product marketing team at Eventbrite owns the development of positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for Eventbrite’s suite of products and services. We work cross-functionally to generate customer insights, partnering closely with the Product, Communications, Sales, Customer Success, and Data teams to leverage those insights to articulate the value of Eventbrite to our customers and ensure they understand how Eventbrite’s product and features can enable their success.
THE ROLE
As Head of Product Marketing, you will partner closely with the product, insights, and content teams to create and refine Eventbrite’s overall messaging and positioning, inform product roadmap, and the strategy for how we take those products to market. You will be the expert on our customers, our product, and competitors and own how Eventbrite articulates the differentiated value of our product and services to our prospective and existing customers.
YOU WILL
- Own company narrative, positioning, and messaging based on market research and competitive insights, talking regularly to customers and working with our research and customer-facing teams to develop qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Own awareness and usage KPIs for global product enhancements and launches.
- Own executive communications for Product Marketing and global product launches and work with cross-functional leads to obtain alignment on goals and buy-in for launch & adoption initiatives.
- Guide product marketing team on global go-to-market strategies and follow-through on adoption targets, tracking and analyzing the success of all activities.
- Work closely with the Product team to help shape the roadmap, Content team to inform educational and how-to asset strategy, and Lifecycle team to shape how we inform customers about the right products at the right time using the right message.
- Be the expert on the needs of existing and potential customers, the competitive landscape, and the Eventbrite product.
THE SKILL SET
- Passion for live events and entrepreneurial mindset
- 8+ years experience, including a minimum of 5 years in product marketing, product management, or go-to-market experience
- 3+ years experience leading a team of marketers and developing talent
- Proven track record of crafting product-centric content and go-to-market campaigns
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
- Adaptability and ability to see projects through despite an often-changing market and competitive landscape
- Fluency with data, including pricing/packaging research, market assessment, forecasting, and ability to analyze and develop narratives from product and usage data
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritizing and organizing effectively
