The IT Technician role at Sauce Labs is going to have a key role in our IT team. This role will work with site leaders and global leaders to build out a world class IT infrastructure.  This role has the opportunity to make an impact in a rapidly growing and scaling business. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Application administration workflows, keeping user permissions up-to-date
  • Implement and maintain security measures
  • Organize and support full cycle inventorying

Required Skills:

  • At least 1 years working in IT/service desk role
  • Excellent ticket system skills and strong ability to prioritize tasks according to business needs
  • Experience with some if not all of the following programs: Okta, GSuite, Zoom, Atlassian Confluence / Jira, MacOS/Jamf, Windows/MobileIron, Linux, Bettercloud
  • Technically literate whilst being capable of simplifying concepts for non-technical users
  • Aptness for problem solving and an interest in investigating solutions
  • Strong belief in “customer” satisfaction
  • Strong Audit skills
  • Ability to Support in office IT efforts such as cabling and Desk Setup.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a Global Team
  • Desktop support experience, macOS support, Windows support 
  • Basic network fundamentals 
  • Application administration workflows, Adding, Deleting, Assigning Permissions
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Basic network troubleshooting experience
