About the role

We’re hiring a Lead Analyst who will focus on new product initiatives within consumer product analytics. Through user funnel analysis, data science modeling, experimentation, and dashboard development, you will surface product insights and recommendations to build delightful consumer experiences that solve member concerns. You will be responsible for the success of multiple work streams and work closely with consumer product managers and engineers to foster our data-driven product development culture, inform our product roadmaps, and create a deep understanding of member behavior.

For Colorado based roles: In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $149,000 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Define key metrics used to measure the success of our consumer product experiences and develop dashboards to surface insights to drive decision making.
  • Build a deeper understanding of our members needs and use predictive analytics to develop strategic product and business opportunities for Chime.
  • Closely partner with product, engineering, and operations to translate your data insights into product features or recommendations; you will partner with product to drive roadmap development.
  • Lead experimentation by providing guidance on which experiments to run, how they should be run, and evaluating the impact on our key metrics.
  • Foster a data-driven, test-and-learn culture with your passion for telling stories with data.

To thrive in this role, you have

  • A quantitative degree in a field like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Engineering. Advanced degrees preferred.
  • 7+ years in analytics. B2C product analytics and FinTech experience preferred.
  • 2+ years direct or indirect management experience overseeing the work of 2-4 team members.
  • Advanced SQL skills - familiarity with window functions and query optimization.
  • A high level of comfort delivering reporting and insights within a data visualization platform (eg Looker, Tableau).
  • Exposure to a scripting language like Python or R and relevant data science packages.
  • Proven experience with data science, experimentation, and statistical analysis used to guide decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills, a record of working cross-functionally to achieve results.
