Our Team
The Partner Business Manager will be a key member of the regional sales teams Go-To-Market Strategy. Partnerships are central to Sauce’s overall strategy and our team is dedicated to ensuring partnership success by providing differentiated offerings and solutions that customers love. You will foster key partner relationships and maintain overall alignment between your partners and Sauce Labs. You will work with our Partner ecosystem (Strategic, Consulting, Reselling, and Service Providers) who are amongst the most well known brands in our industry. Our team works closely with the regional partner teams who help our customers to understand, implement, and support Sauce Labs.
Your Opportunity
The Partner Business Manager will own the growth of our partner base, the activities with the partners and the pipeline generated by the partners in your region. Your opportunity will be to leverage existing agreements to build the ranks of our Partners in your region. You will play a critical role in helping the team execute on the regional strategy to help customers adopt Sauce Labs by building a quality base of Consulting, Reselling, and Service Provider partners to attain the regional goals. You will work with Regional Sales teams and the Directors of Strategic Alliances Sales team to map your partners to your regional opportunities to over achieve your goals.
Required experience and capabilities:
- 8+ years of experience in the software industry doing business development, strategic alliances and/or partner sales.
- Proven experience and demonstrated ability to support closing opportunities, managing multiple projects and effectively negotiating agreements.
- Experience working with consulting services organizations that deliver industry leading software solutions to end users (experience working with DevOps, QA, TestDev consulting services organizations preferred).
- Strategic and analytical thinker, able to blend technology vision and business strategy to identify new partner opportunities.
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and architectural scenarios, and explain them to others concisely, in words and images
Responsibilities:
- Own the in region partner execution and relationships to achieve revenue goals.
- Facilitate opportunity management with partners.
- Facilitate in regions relationship building with partners and Sauce Labs sellers.
- Leverage the Sauce Labs tools and resources to train and enable the partner sellers and technical leads in your region.
- Evangelize programmatic benefits and accelerators to enable success for your assigned partners at all levels of partner companies.
- Evangelize the partner’s value proposition to the Sauce Labs sales teams.
- Own and drive the regional number across the partner ecosystem to achieve revenue bookings and top of funnel goals.
