About the Team
U.S. businesses spend over $100 billion annually on employee meals. For these businesses, DoorDash is a compelling solution given our best-in-class operations, restaurant selection and geographic reach. As a Product Manager, you'll have the opportunity to join one of DoorDash's new platforms on the ground floor. The re-branded DoorDash for Work team is laying the foundation for what will become a major business unit for the company.
About the Role
At DoorDash for Work, we're redefining the future of corporate food delivery. We're building a team of incredibly talented product leaders to define and execute on our vision of making DoorDash a daily habit within the workplace (whether the work is in-office or remote!).
We're looking for Product Managers to help build the next wave of corporate products. In this role, you'll lead a cross-functional team of engineers, analysts, and operators to build world-class product solutions for our corporate customers. You'll help to build and scale our full suite of products, and will partner closely with sales and marketing teams to bring new features and new products to market successfully.
You'll work among star engineers, designers, and operators in a fast-growing environment. You will need to talk with corporate customers of all shapes and sizes, and from across the world, to understand their unique needs. The role demands a mix of entrepreneurship, cross-company collaboration, and well-honed product judgment.
Given the three-sided nature of our business, you will not have the luxury of having tunnel-vision for any one area; rather, you will need to think holistically and understand the business deeply to set the right long-term strategy for the company.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineering, design, operations, and marketing. You'll guide product definition, strategy, and long-term vision for initiatives across audiences of our 3-sided marketplace of consumers, merchants, and Dashers
- Thrive in a market filled with opportunity. Identify the biggest problems to solve. Drive new feature development from start to finish
- Run user research, usability studies, data-driven experiments to inform product direction
- Craft the strategic direction of the company and help us decide how DoorDash for Work can win the corporate food delivery market
- Establish and measure success metrics after launch. Consistently integrate behavior data and customer feedback into essential product decisions
- Communicate product plans, benefits and results to all audiences - within teams, company, to customers, press, etc.
We're excited about you because…
- Experience influencing product direction and others around you. You handle chaos, ambiguity and complexity in a detailed, organized way
- Expert product instincts and an ability to balance user and business impact
- Shipped creative and highly successful consumer tech products; involved in process end-to-end
- Clear, concise, and thorough written and oral communication skills
- Experience analyzing and using data to inform decisions
- 5+ years of product management experience. Additional engineering or design experience is a plus!
