Gemini is a New York trust company that is subject to the capital reserve requirements, cybersecurity requirements, and banking compliance standards set forth by the New York State Department of Financial Services and the New York Banking Law. Gemini was founded in 2014 by twin brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss to empower the individual through crypto.

The Department: Earn
Gemini is a regulated, full service, crypto service provider where engineering is the core of the company. There’s a wide range of tough problems to solve at Gemini – from properly securing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of customer funds, to developing innovative new blockchain products, to finding new techniques to combat fraud, to shaving microseconds off our API response times, and everything in between.
Our Product team is made up of skilled product managers with experience in tech, banking, fintech, and cryptocurrency. We draw from top players in the financial and technology industries who are ready to stretch themselves and face the unique and exciting challenges of the digital asset world. We are an internal “think tank” that tackles complex, cross-functional projects, iterates on existing products, and acts as the go-to team for Leadership’s technical vision.
The Role: Product Manager Lead
In this role, you will help determine the direction of Gemini’s yield-generating product strategy, including the popular Gemini Earn, and develop innovative new products. You’ll be responsible for understanding the ever-changing crypto market, identifying strategic opportunities, building and evolving a roadmap, and delivering new products and features in collaboration with technology and cross-functional team members that enhance the user experience for our customers. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker and innovative driver for user-focused product development.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and synthesize strategic and economic data to ideate new product opportunities
- Leverage quantitative data and operational knowledge to write technical requirements for product enhancements
- Create roadmaps and manage execution with engineering and design.
- Influence and collaborate with stakeholders and leadership teams to invest and craft innovative rich product features.
Qualifications:
- 5 plus years of work experience in product management for a fintech or retail-focused application
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; MBA/MS a plus
- Experience using software development tools and practices (version control, issue tracking tools, programming and scripting languages)
- Experience creating financial models for product decision-making, especially for pricing, demand estimation and market sizing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with abilities to influence and articulate with precision.
- Affinity for team-oriented culture and demonstrated willingness to roll up sleeves and get into the weeds of a project
