The team is looking for a Product Manager to be the champion for local businesses and service providers. You should be passionate about bringing businesses and service providers on the Nextdoor platform and meaningfully connecting them with their neighborhoods online and offline. 

The Impact You’ll Make

As a Product Manager on the Organizations team, you will partner closely with designers, researchers, data scientists, engineers, and fellow product managers to define the product vision that enables businesses to be more successful on Nextdoor. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Develop a long-term vision for businesses at Nextdoor; create the product strategy, roadmap and milestones for existing and future use cases.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners (product management, data science, engineering, insights, design, and partnerships. 
  • Align the organization around the vision and strategy.
  • Lead the team that implements these products, from initial MVP to continuous iteration and testing.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • 3+ years of work experience product development.
  • Strong track record of shipping world-class consumer products.
  • Familiarity with leveraging research and insights to inform product strategy.
  • Strong analytical thinker in order to interpret data, thoroughly analyze results, and drive to critical outcomes and success.
  • Excitement about partnering with Design as a strategic partner and building a collaborative relationship with design team members around exploring multiple solution spaces.
  • Experience developing new product surfaces and building the organizational alignment around the new opportunity.
  • Experience with multiple methods of testing and validation, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Excellent written and communication skills especially to senior executives.
  • Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way.
