Product Managers at Nuna guide our products from concept to launch and beyond! We’re the voice of our customers within Nuna and love learning about their needs and challenges in order to craft better solutions. We work closely with User Experience, Engineering, and Data Science across new and existing products at Nuna. We thrive in ambiguous situations, manage chaos with a sense of humor, and have a bias towards action that is data‐driven and purposeful.

YOUR IMPACT

Nuna’s products aim to drive the successful adoption and operation of Value Based Care across the entire US, catalyzing the delivery of higher quality, more accessible, and more affordable healthcare care for all patients. In this role, you will guide the development of Nuna’s product suite. 

Nuna’s Value Platform team is building the next generation of healthcare products to enable widespread adoption and delivery of value-based care throughout the United States. Through these products, we’ll tackle the major challenges delaying the delivery of high-quality affordable healthcare for everyone. Our products are used by healthcare industry leaders to design and manage value-based care programs and include provider-facing analytics that help providers target and remove wasteful and expensive care, strategically plan and execute high ROI performance improvement initiatives, improve the quality of patient care, and achieve financial success in value-based arrangements. 

YOUR OPPORTUNITIES

  • Drive discovery and development of cutting edge products that enable transparent, trusted operation of value based payment operations for payers and providers, including provider-facing tools in order to drive provider engagement and performance improvement 
  • Research industry trends and health policy by working with industry experts and stakeholders across payers, providers, and government to develop novel capabilities that enable the ramp-up and success of national value-based programs.
  • Work cross functionally with design, engineering, and data science to design scalable and reusable value-based performance reporting capabilities and provider-workflow integration technologies that support a wide portfolio of value-based payment models. 
  • Own the product roadmap and prioritize development optimizing for product impact, delivery, and strategic value.  
  • Rapidly iterate and ground decisions in user feedback to deliver a customer-first experience

YOU BRING

  • Opportunities available at various levels based on level of experience from  1 to 5+ years of building, launching, and improving payer or provider facing analytic products.
  • BA/BS/MS degree in relevant healthcare or technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Medical Informatics, Public Health, Economics, Math, etc.)
  • Equivalent practical experience will also be considered, particularly at a top-tier strategy/healthcare consulting firm 
  • User obsession and ability to listen and translate needs into product requirements.
  • Expert partnership in working with subject matter experts to realize the implementation of accurate and appropriate analytic methodologies
  • Technical fluency in big data processing, analytics and BI tools.
  • Expert data-driven storytelling abilities. 
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills, you  break down problems and generate shared understanding across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A get-it-done personality with a bias towards testing hypotheses and execution.
  • Ability to ruthlessly prioritize competing demands across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong track record of creative problem solving and overcoming challenges.

BONUSES

  • Prior experience working with value-based or performance-driven programs.
  • Quantitative background with healthcare data experience, particularly with calculations of healthcare performance and actuarial metrics and working with teams of data scientists, actuaries, and health data analysts, 
  • Hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Enterprise software or healthcare-related domain knowledge.
