Professional Services Consultant (Enterprise Implementation)

Location: Americas (Remote)

We provide the world's engineers mission-critical intelligence, safeguarding the technology of today and enabling the breakthroughs of tomorrow. Accuris transforms the world's largest repository of standards and supply chain data into AI-driven insights and connected workflows - enabling engineers to work smarter, stay compliant, and innovate faster. Behind every world-changing innovation - there's Accuris - the most trusted intelligence platform for engineers. https://accuristech.com/

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Professional Services Consultant to join our Americas Professional Services team, delivering implementation, configuration, and integration services for customers across Aerospace & Defense, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Medical Device, and Energy. This role brings working knowledge of REST APIs, data mapping, and enterprise system integration to the full scope of professional services consulting.

You will partner closely with Sales and Sales Engineering in scoping conversations, contributing the technical input needed to shape clear project scope, assumptions, and milestones, and then deliver hands-on implementation for engineering-system integrations across the Accuris product suite. Sales and account managers own the statement of work; you help make sure the scope behind it is accurate.

Product and Engineering own the core Accuris products and connectors. Alongside that, our team has room to build custom solutions, product add-ons, and internal tools for customers and for ourselves, so technical curiosity and hands-on skills are welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver implementation and configuration: Deliver onboarding, configuration, and deployment activities for customers with active Statements of Work, including API-based data connections, data validation, and customer-hosted (on-premises or private cloud) installs. Coordinate authentication setup (SSO / LDAP / Active Directory) with the customer's IT team.
  • Support customer integrations: Gather integration requirements and define technical scope with customers, partner with Product and Engineering (who develop and maintain the solutions), and carry out testing, validation, and implementation of integrations with customer engineering and enterprise systems (e.g., PLM, ALM, document management, and ERP platforms), including metadata and permission mapping.
  • Partner on scoping calls: Contribute substantive technical input in customer scoping and discovery conversations, helping Sales and Sales Engineering turn requirements into clear technical scope, assumptions, and milestones.
  • Manage engagements and grow accounts: Own project plans, status, and delivery across multiple concurrent customer engagements, and identify follow-on opportunities with Sales.
  • Deliver training and documentation: Produce implementation documentation, best-practice guidance, and end-user/administrator training materials.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues: Research and resolve technical and functional issues during deployment and post-go-live support, using AI tools where they help, and escalate to Engineering as needed.
  • Build custom solutions: Where a customer need falls outside the standard product, design and deliver custom solutions, and work with Product to formalize add-ons that could serve other customers.
  • Build product depth and share knowledge: Develop working knowledge across the Accuris product suite and share it with peers.
  • Manage workload and improve how we work: Balance customer delivery with scoping and internal initiatives, including building and improving onboarding, tooling, and internal solutions for the Professional Services team.

What You Bring:

  • REST APIs and integration: Strong working knowledge of REST APIs, data mapping, and integration concepts. This is the core technical bar for the role. Working familiarity with SSO, LDAP, and Active Directory is expected.
  • Scoping participation: Comfortable contributing substantively to customer scoping and discovery calls. This is a floor expectation for the seat.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in Professional Services, technical consulting, systems integration, or enterprise software implementation, including exposure to technical scoping or requirements work.
  • Resourcefulness: A self-starter who runs problems down, works through ambiguous, cross-functional situations, and is comfortable using AI tools to research, troubleshoot, and document.
  • Customer presence: Clear, professional, and plain-spoken with customers and technical teams.
  • Working style: Ability to work independently in a remote, Americas-based team, with occasional cross-region collaboration with EMEA and APAC.

Desired Experience (Plus, Not Required):

  • PLM / ALM or engineering-system platforms (Teamcenter, Windchill, SAP, Documentum, or similar). An engineering background is a bonus, not a requirement.
  • Software development skills (JavaScript, Python, or similar) for custom solutions and internal tooling
  • Customer-hosted deployment and administration, including Windows Server and SQL Server installs
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI integration patterns
  • API-based system integration platforms and webhook-based integration patterns
  • SQL or relational database fundamentals
  • Enterprise-scale data migration and validation
  • Prior experience in regulated or engineering-driven industries (Aerospace & Defense, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Medical Device, Nuclear)

What Success Looks Like:

  • Scoping input to Sales and Sales Engineering is clear and accurate, reducing rework and mid-engagement surprises
  • Customers achieve successful implementations and integrations with measurable business value
  • Engagements are managed with clear status, documentation, and follow-on opportunities identified
  • Demonstrated growth in technical range across the Accuris product suite

Travel:

Occasional travel to customer sites is expected, typically no more than a few times per year.

Why Join Our Team:

Our Professional Services team partners closely with customers to solve complex engineering and knowledge-management challenges. We combine deep technical expertise with a highly collaborative, customer-centric approach to help organizations improve access to information, accelerate workflows, and drive adoption of enterprise technologies.

You'll have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of industries and technologies while contributing directly to meaningful customer outcomes.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

Accuris states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000.
