What we are looking for:
We’re building a high-performing program management team to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives for the company. The program management team sits at the center of managing company initiatives, driving cross-functional operations and communications, and working to solve some of the hardest problems at MasterClass. Our team serves as trusted thought partners and collaborators across the company. We strive to make MasterClass work better for our team, customers, and business overall.
We are looking for a strong, detail-oriented Program Manager who is excited about tackling complex projects, solving big problems, and rolling up their sleeves to deliver results and overall make a tremendous impact at MasterClass. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a high-growth and fast-paced environment. They’ll have a diverse set of interests and work experiences that enable them to contribute as a high-performing generalist at MasterClass. This is a highly cross-functional and impactful role -- you will have the opportunity to be a key driver in helping MasterClass deliver upon its mission.
- An organized program manager with an infectious passion for developing efficient processes, diving into every single detail, and bringing teams together.
- Strong understanding of customer and business dynamics and requirements.
- High attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions and measure impact.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities within tight timelines and high expectations.
- Creative, flexible, and open to changing priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
- Superior written and verbal communications skills as well as highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, balance priorities, and lead cross-functionally.
- Substantial experience operationalizing projects and with an excellent eye for detail and a passion for constant growth / improvement.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Own cross-functional business initiatives, with a focus on the entire process for launching new programs from beginning to end
- Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to keep the launch process smooth and straight forward
- Lead cross-functional projects across Business Development, Marketing, Content, Product, Engineering, and Operations
- Develop new strategies/programs to enhance and scale processes
- Track data and collect feedback in order to further improve process; advise on how to better implement process
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in marketing, program management, and/or account management
- Experience working on a consumer-facing product, either at a startup, consumer brand/business or at an agency
- Prolific project manager and multi-tasker
- High level of attention to detail - nothing gets by you
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excited to work with a small interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
- Master prioritizer - you know how to find the 20% effort that will drive 80% impact
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
