<p>We are looking for an individual who lives and breathes P&amp;C Underwriting and has a passion for underwriting. Ideally, this person has deep experience with Business Owners' Policies (BOPs) or Commercial Package policies. This role reports to Attune’s Chief Underwriting Officer.</p>
<p>As the P&amp;C Underwriting Lead, you will be a P&amp;C expert and have a deep understanding of our BOP and how it performs. You will be integral in developing our underwriting appetite, coverage, and filing requirements within the Attune portfolio. You are also customer-centric and are able to anticipate their needs and pain points.</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Update and maintain underwriting guidelines and train internal personnel</li>
<li>Work with our Technology and Operations teams to prioritize product improvements using third-party data and customer feedback</li>
<li>Design, write, and implement all necessary terms and conditions and any related documents</li>
<li>Work with our Actuary to provide input to rating and pricing</li>
<li>Be the subject matter expert on appetite, eligibility, and coverage</li>
<li>Contribute to our underwriting strategy</li>
<li>Create product briefings and share with internal partners&nbsp;</li>
<li>Track trends and stay on top of changes within the market and regulations</li>
<li>Conduct file and underwriting audits as needed</li>
<li>Handle complex underwriting referrals, support our Customer Care operation, and partner with our Claims Manager</li>
<li>Conduct system testing</li>
<li>Take on additional projects and tasks as needed to support the evolving needs of the business</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong>&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>3-7+ years of P&amp;C experience, ideally with Commercial Package or BOPs, in product, pricing and/or underwriting</li>
<li>Understanding of insurance distribution marketplace including both admitted and non-admitted markets</li>
<li>Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations for filing and compliance.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of P&amp;C customer profiles and small businesses</li>
<li>Experience within small or middle-market environments</li>
<li>Adaptable and self-driven&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and understandable way</li>
<li>Comfortable with and adaptable to new technologies</li>
<li>Attention and care to detail</li>
<li>Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines</li>
<li>Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally&nbsp;</li>
<li>A data driven problem solver</li>

<p>The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $140,000 per year, depending upon the individual's unique qualifications and experience. Additionally, this role offers the potential for a 10% annual bonus.</p>
