</ul></div><p><strong>The Role </strong></p>
<p>CodeSignal is seeking a <strong>QA Engineer</strong> to assist with auditing and updating existing test cases, as well as carefully reporting bugs and updates to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases while working cross-functionally to improve the quality of our products. This position involves creating and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and developing automated test scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage. A strong understanding of software development and a keen attention to detail are essential.</p>

<p><strong>Day-to-Day</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans.</li>
<li>Identify, document, and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.</li>
<li>Audit and update existing test cases if needed.</li>
<li>Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.</li>
<li>Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve overall product quality.</li>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated test scripts and environments.</li>
<li>Work closely with developers to understand application functionality and contribute to test planning.</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Qualifications</strong>&nbsp;</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">More than 2 years of experience in manual and automated software testing.</span></li>
<li>Experience with the creation/maintenance of test documentation.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.</li>
<li>A clear understanding of the software development lifecycle, including the quality assurance process.</li>
<li>Experience in Asana, GitHub and Qase.io (or similar) systems.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, WebdriverIO or similar.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of the current industry-wide testing techniques, tools, and methodologies.</li>
<li>Advanced English knowledge.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice-to-Have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Typescript,&nbsp; JavaScript) for test script development.</li>
<li>Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.</li>
