What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Manage a team of experienced Quality engineers test multiple Granular products
  • Actively coach, mentor, guide and manage quality assurance engineers to deliver high quality software
  • Responsible for owning testing methodologies, risk mitigations and metrics
  • Learn the team(s), the business, the culture, testing and automation process to build future improvement strategies
  • Demonstrate strong leadership as we transition our framework from Java to Python
  • Improve automation coverage and speed partnering with Product Teams
  • As Granular embarks on unifying various of its products into a single platform; this leadership role will be pivotal to ensure integration testing stability, speed and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with Product, Development, Delivery, Design, & GTM to develop best-in-class experience for our users
  • Improve all aspects of the product - both technical and processes - and deliver outstanding results for our customers

Who You Will Do It With:

  • The team is one of 6 other teams in the QA engineering organization
  • The team is embedded with the product scrum team
  • Work on a software that will change how we farm across the globe
  • Learn and use latest technologies
  • Transform how we test software while allowing team members to grow
  • Be a game changer on how we test
  • After bringing efficiency gain, expand into other testing offerings such as performance, chaos and accessibility testing

Who You Are:

  • At least 4-9 years of QE/SDET experience including 1+ years of hands on people management experience
  • Ability to automate, peer review and contribute to automation code written in Python
  • Experience testing containerized application running on AWS or one of the major cloud platforms
  • Native Mobile testing experience is a must 
  • Possess a strong passion for quality, high level of attention to detail, and the proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrates servant leadership and passion for leading and mentoring the team
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong, productive relationships.
  • Has worked in an agile environment and is comfortable using project management tools like JIRA, Asana, Rally, etc.
  • Has a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • The candidate as a plus would have experience with:
  • Experience leading development of AgTech applications
  • Experience in the identity and access management domain
