We are looking for a responsible Quality Engineering Technician to check the quality of all outgoing products as well as production procedures. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Read blueprints and instructions to understand quality expectations for products and supplies
- Select samples for inspection and approve or reject them based on established quality expectations
- Use vision systems to perform complex visual inspection procedures on finished products
- Communicate with the manufacturing partners to resolve inspection issues/questions
- Monitor, maintain, calibrate, and as necessary dispose of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and safety
- Maintain records of testing information, supplier performance, and various other metrics
- Review internal procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards
- Prepare and submit regular and ad hoc reports to the quality manager
- Packaging of products for shipping to customers
Desired traits
- Proven experience as engineering technician or relevant role
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and inspection methodologies
- Working knowledge in the use of inspection tools (caliper, micrometers, pin gauges, etc)
- Working knowledge of Google Docs
- High School Degree; College Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing preferred
