TuneIn is seeking a Sales Planner with digital (online + mobile) advertising experience, and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. The Sales Planner will partner with Account Executives, Account Managers and Ad Operations throughout the campaign life cycle to provide planning and client support. This individual must be a self-starter, able to take on/own various projects and wear multiple hats. This position will be located in NEW YORK CITY or LOS ANGELES.

What You'll Do

  • Develop creative, data-driven proposals in collaboration with Account Executives and Content Teams to meet client-marketing objectives
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to actively participating in internal brainstorms, evaluating inventory availability, building strategic media plans + proposal decks, and communicating creative specs via agency templates
  • Work with Ad Operations to process Insertion Orders, define campaign requirements, and ensure timely launches with complete delivery
  • Project Manage content campaigns by leading client-facing calls and email correspondence, build delivery timelines and coordinate internal teams for timely launch
  • Help Account Executives to manage client expectations - going above and beyond for our clients
  • Working directly with our Top Partners to help them achieve their goals by providing them excellent service
  • Build detailed presentations and sales collateral (e.g. proactive pitches, meeting decks, case studies, mid/post-campaign wraps) to drive home the TuneIn value proposition and win incremental budget/renewals. Include relevant audience research from third parties
  • Collaborate internally to build efficiencies, develop best practices and accomplish Sales + TuneIn goals

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in digital/mobile planning or buying. Knowledge of the digital advertising and online publishing space is a must
  • Must have built media plan spreadsheets and presentations for proposals - this is a client-facing role
  • Comfortable analyzing performance data to maximize campaigns
  • -Basic knowledge of how digital campaigns are executed from both planning and technical sides
  • Skilled with industry-standard platforms including DoubleClick, Prisma, and SalesForce. Experience with Lotame or 3rd party data providers is a plus
  • Strong experience with Google Mail, Google Docs, KeyNote and Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. --Experience with PhotoShop a plus
  • Working knowledge of third-party Internet market research platforms including comScore and Nielsen
  • The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing startup culture and environment
  • Must have the ability to be client facing in both written communication and in person. Requires self awareness, confidence, poise, humility and understanding to whom you are speaking - (ie jr. planner at an agency vs. senior marketer at a client)
  • Team centric attitude - being flexible to help out different team members
  • The role requires an enthusiastic and hardworking person who exudes passion for TuneIn’s unique platform and value proposition
