The role
As a Salesforce CPQ Developer, you will work on a team to adapt and develop solutions to client problems. You are incredibly detail-oriented and are constantly asking questions and seeking clarity to work more effectively. You spot opportunities for efficiency in processes and are eager to implement improvements that make everyone's lives easier. You develop insights and leverage those insights to propose solutions to client problems. You develop guides for best practices, monitor adoption, and manage training and support. You can work independently on projects and collaborate well as a team member. You are enthusiastic, professional, and confident, with a focus on customer success.
Day-to-day
- This role requires consulting expertise, along with Salesforce configuration expertise on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ, business analysis and strong communication skills.
- The Salesforce CPQ Developer will be responsible for (but not limited to) requirements gathering, solutioning, configuration, documentation, functional testing, and knowledge transfer.
- CPQ developer will need to understand the business process and possess a broad knowledge of Salesforce CPQ functionality and best practices in order to advise on how to fulfil requirements within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Design and execute solutions that include data mapping, object modeling, page layout design, and business process workflows
- Integrate, troubleshoot and fix issues between Salesforce and other Business Systems.
- Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets using Salesforce data tools.
- Provide changelogs and documentation on updates made to the platform including but not limited to; user audit trails, workflow processes, reporting, and analytics
- Address user questions, aggregate and prioritize user feedback, and plan and implement Salesforce enhancements based on personal expertise, user feedback, and organizational goals;
- Identify Salesforce problems, develop fixes, ensure full quality assurance testing, and implement solutions
- Document and train staff on system best practices and processes
- Review, recommend and implement new system features and updates
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated professional experience as a Salesforce administrator.
- Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge of configuration & implementation of Salesforce CPQ is required.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (Required)
- CPQ Specialist certification (Required)
- Platform Developer I certification (Required)
- Platform Developer II certification (Asset)
- Salesforce Certified App Builder (Asset)
- Experience building solutions in Lightning and using key Salesforce core programing languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs).
- Experience with Salesforce.com architecture and APIs.
- Ability to work under challenging timelines

- Ability to maintain strong, supportive client relationships
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written & verbal
