Selective Solder Technician - Second Shift

We are looking to hire an outstanding Selective Solder Technician to join our Production team! The Selective Solder Technician - Second Shift hours are generally 1:30pm - 10:00pm PDT, Monday through Friday.

You Will:

• Review boards and develops solder programs based on fixture location.
• Examine tools and equipment to ensure operability.
• Execute program and complete solder programs.
• Knowledge of chemical handling, basic understanding of flux / solder pot.
• Contribute to the acceleration of innovation for Tempo’s clients by producing top-quality, high-complexity PCBA.
• Work closely with other skilled technicians and engineers to transform the PCBA production process and develop faster, better methods.
• Operate industrial manufacturing equipment and assist in the programming or upkeep thereof as appropriate.

You Have:

• Familiarity with hand tooling, using small tools, some semi-automated tools.
• Experience assembling electronics or semiconductors.
• Experiencing following safety protocols - shield, hand covers / gloves, etc.
• Ability to follow detailed SOP.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
