As an Accountant for us, you will work within a small team as part of a wider Global organization. We are looking for the following:-
Role Expectations:
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a mix of Private and Public Accounting role.
- CPA Qualified.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
- Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze account activity.
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles (specifically US GAAP): including (but not limited to) complex accounting areas such as Revenue Recognition and Costs to Obtain/Fulfill Contracts (ASC 606), Leases (ASC 842), and Capitalized Internal Use Software (ASC 350).
- Experience with accounting software (Netsuite preferred) and booking journal entries.
- Ability to work independently, in a fast paced environment and with strong organization skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare month-end entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance, investigating potential discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Review work performed and journal entries posted by Staff Accountant.
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP.
- Assist with special projects on an as needed basis.
Compensation
Base pay: $110,000 - $132,000 OTE
The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
