About the role
Chime is expanding our features to assist members better manage their money and accounts. We’re hiring a Senior Product Data Analyst to join the Manage Money Analytics team who will lead the ideation and scalability of our newest feature. Through experimentation, user behavioral analysis, data science modeling, and dashboards development, you will surface product insights and recommendations that will increase product adoption, engagement and retention of our members.
In this role, you will work closely with product managers, user research, engineers and operational stakeholders to foster our data-driven product development culture, inform our product roadmaps and create a deep understanding of member behavior.
For Colorado based roles: In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $126,000 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
- Partner with product, engineering, research, and design to translate your insights to guide product development.
- Conduct deep user behavior analysis and/or modeling to guide future product roadmap to assist members achieve financial stability and identify future opportunities for Chime’s growth.
- Own strategic discussions with stakeholders
- Lead experimentation by providing guidance on defining success metrics and data requirements, how they should be run, evaluating our key metrics’ impact and providing future direction.
- Foster a data-driven, test-and-learn culture with your passion for telling stories with data.
- Collaborate with analysts and other functions to help bridge business questions and technical (data / computational) solutions.
To thrive in this role, you have
- 5+ years in analytics experience with 1+ years in product analytics, leveling will be determined based on experience. B2C and FinTech experience preferred.
- A quantitative degree in a field like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Engineering.
- Expertise in SQL - familiarity with window functions would be a good sign.
- Familiarity with data science programming languages like R and Python is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with BI/Visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc).
- Experience with experimentation and statistical analysis used to guide decision making.
- Excellent communication skills, a record of working cross-functionally to achieve results.
- Ability to think holistically to solve business problems at hand and navigate through ambiguity.
