The Role:
- You will play a lead role designing and implementing highly differentiated client-side SDK integrations for mobile platforms to improve observability into application errors, crashes and hangs. You will have a chance to work directly with our end-users, engineers and leads from leading technology companies. You will collaborate with the rest of the engineering team, including our systems and toolchain engineers, to bring a differentiated engineering-centric solution to market. The position is remote and our engineering team is distributed across the globe.
Responsibilities
- Be the technical point of contact and engineering lead for mobile client-side SDK integrations.
- Work directly with product leadership and other engineers to provide elegant and differentiated solutions to current and anticipated problems our customers face with mobile application observability.
- Help us provide the best solutions for improving observability into application failures for mobile platforms.
- You will deliver a mix of open-source and proprietary software.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in native mobile development on Android and iOS with familiarity with both Kotlin and Swift / Objective-C.
- 3+ years of experience developing reusable libraries for cross-platform mobile applications.
- Significant experience with C and C++, you are not scared to look at a dump of assembly.
- Autonomous and accountable, work directly with product leadership, our customers and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Interested in systems programming and low-level programming. You are excited by the prospect of understanding the inner-workings of compilers, operating systems and memory.
