The Senior Manager, Retail eCommerce will be responsible for overseeing e-commerce partnerships, Pure Play customer relationships, and the online retail expansion of Hims & Hers’ non-RX portfolio of products. Additionally, this role will be responsible for executing a strategic growth plan to ensure a best-in-class on-line brand experience while achieving revenue goals, profitable growth, and expansion of the business.
This role serves as the lead point of contact for sales and account management activities for our existing and new customers and builds win-win partnerships that will enable Hims & Hers to surpass its retail sales and business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees brand go-to-market plans, on-time launches, and best-in-class customer launch strategies for key eCommerce/retail partners
- Ensures that all retail eCommerce activity is consistent with our brand objectives and sense of purpose
- Identifies new retail partnership opportunities and ideas that leverage strong insights to drive incremental revenue growth
- Activate the right business drivers by tracking and analyzing key eCommerce KPIs (i.e., unique visitors, conversion rate, profit optimization. etc.)
- Builds an online e-commerce business plan: e-promotional calendar, product portfolio recommendations, cross selling mechanisms, and e-retailer data/insights)
- Builds and manage sales forecasts, customer investment plans, and monthly reporting to ensure visibility across key internal stakeholders/teams
- Collaborates with Supply Chain to build and ensure forecasts are in line with go to market plans and financial forecasts
- Determines immediate strategy and long term vision (3+ years) to increase the size of business and contribution to the overall retail sales growth plan
- Drives online revenue growth by applying a clear understanding of the Hims & Hers brand, trends related to our online partner sites, and online merchandising principles
- Aligns and integrates the eCommerce business strategies with the overall strategic sales channel priorities
- Ensures that all retail eCommerce activity is consistent with our brand objectives and sense of purpose
Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years of CPG eCommerce experience with a track-record of building growth and profitability.
- Previous experience working with Amazon directly, on-line channel selling connected to brick and mortar retailers and/or direct Pure Play customers
- Direct eCommerce customer management experience in the CPG sector, including Amazon
- Thorough knowledge of sales, marketing, planning, analytics with the ability to develop a strategic vision, strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities, and a desire to excel
- Proven account management experience specifically negotiating with key customer stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, good analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to shape and apply strategy by anticipating business needs and developing customer specific plans that deliver results
- Experience working with and through broker partners while maintaining a high level of connectivity with key retailer decision makers
- Ability to influence and negotiate with teams and key stakeholders at all levels
- High customer focus with the ability to drive results
- Drives team goals while leading the budget for efficient return on investment
- Ability to identify and assess risks and prioritize competing demands
