Senior Security Engineer

Sr. Security Engineer reports to the IT Manager and will play an integral role at Moogsoft. We’re seeking out a cross-functional thinker who has a profound drive to provide world-class customer support. The successful candidate for this position must be passionate, motivated, confident and a self-starter. Primary responsibilities include consulting with technical teams to enhance, design and implement industry best practices and secure frameworks. Mentoring and developing the security team and leading SOC and ISO compliance.

You will...

• Management of IT security and IT risk across the enterprise.
• Address questions from internal and external audits and examinations.
• Develop policies, procedures and standards that meet existing and newly developed policy and regulatory requirements including SOC and ISO.
• Facilitate IT security/risk training curriculum.
• Serve as lead within IT security projects.
• Promote awareness of applicable regulatory standards, upstream risks and industry best practices.
• Mature our Secure Software Development Lifecycle implementation
• Mentor IT and Security staff…..
• Advanced understanding of Application Security and Cloud Security
• Perform annual vendor security assessments

You have...

• Bachelor’s Degree, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent experience required.
• 4+ years IT security or information security experience with a proven ability to engage with Senior Management and regulators. 
• 4+ years experience conducting IT compliance assessments.
• 4+ years experience in administering IT security controls in an organization.
• Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases and systems in relation to IT Security and IT Risk.
• Experience with IPS/IDS and SIEM technologies.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or related certification. 
• Project management skills preferred. 
• Strong understanding of CICD practices and tools.
