Strava is growing and we are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to help us identify, assess, and hire best and the brightest technical talent who want to make an impact in health and fitness technology. The right candidate is able to successfully manage, prioritize, and close searches against a timeline. You will be partnering with engineering and product leadership to build high-performing teams that embody Strava’s values and culture. This role will report to the Head of Talent.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:

Manage candidates through the recruiting lifecycle

Build robust talent pipelines for multiple requisitions, taking the time to ensure we’ve built a strong candidate pool before completing a search

Build solid relationships with hiring managers and understand team structures and styles

Run searches and engage with passive candidates via LinkedIn, Teamable, AngelList, GitHub, and other sourcing platforms

Understand the hiring market to run targeted searches

Source qualified candidates, review resumes, and pre-screen candidates while moving interview process forward in a timely manner

Seek candidates for matching alignment and motivation rather than focus on selling alone. We are building teams, not filling seats

Work with the Talent team to provide a positive and exceptional interview experiences for candidates and hiring team
We’re excited about you because you have:

A minimum of 7+ years recruiting experience with in-house recruiting or with a search firm

A minimum of 2+ years focused in Software Engineering, Data, Product, and/or Analytics, ideally working for a technology company

An extensive experience creating dynamic sourcing strategies with or without the use of LinkedIn Recruiter (including advanced Boolean search techniques, X-Ray, etc.)

A baseline knowledge of programming languages, web and emerging technologies

A positive attitude, and you are open-minded and excited to learn and contribute with a team

Committed to learning about antiracism and supporting Strava’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts

A sincere understanding of the importance of building relationships with active and passive candidates of all levels

Experience with Greenhouse ATS

Proven experience in building and managing a diverse pipeline

Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and great follow-through

Proficiency with Google Suite of Tools inclusive of Mail, Calendar, Sheets, etc. and/or similar technology

Self-sufficiency and the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
