ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We’re looking for a Senior Trade Marketing Manager to help us support the Trade Marketing team nationally and manage a team of Regional Marketing Managers. This role is a bridge between Marketing and Sales, ensuring that activations, initiatives and campaigns are on-brand, on time, and on budget. Moreover, the Regional Marketing Manager will support and lead field execution and engagement programs, relationship programs, and relationship programs. The ideal candidate will be strongly collaborative, adept at project management, and have a keen understanding of the market dynamics in the region. We’re excited to build the PAX brand together.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work closely with Program Development to execute regional activations
- Develop selling tools (sell sheets, program guides, program presentations) that are effective
- Monitor relative success and track key KPIs for regional trade programs to make adjustments
- Evaluate the overall level of effectiveness and execution of trade programs by Sales
- Establish best practices for conducting competitive analysis and field audits for the team
- Own the budget allocation process across regions, with an eye of brand awareness and ROI
- Ensure alignment across Sales and Marketing on all below-the-line programs
- Collaborate with Brand and Creative to ensure all touch-points are consistent and on-brand
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Regional Marketing Managers
- Maintain relationships with key agencies and partners to deliver on brand goals
- Stay current with the legal and market landscape to drive innovation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in a trade marketing or related role
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Experience building and managing a team nationally
- Ability to work autonomously as well in a team environment
- Strong collaborative nature and ability to work cross-functionally
- Detail-oriented with good financial acumen
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Ability to travel (safely) for work in accordance with COVID guidelines
- Experience working in a regulated industry preferred
