SpecterOps is searching for a Sales Engineer to support our consulting services business. We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong background in offensive and/or defensive security operations who loves to help customers learn about how SpecterOps can help achieve their security objectives.
Salary Range: base salary annually, commensurate with experience + Commission
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">OTE: $150,000 - $187,000 </li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Sr OTE: $168,000 -$212,000 </li>
</ul>
Location: This position is remote, based in the U.S. or Canada, with optional travel quarterly for in person company events and other ad hoc meetings
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Works with customers to understand business drivers and how to align customer needs with SpecterOps services. </li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Execute on sales opportunities from discovery to deal closure, with or without the support of an account manager </li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborates closely with sales and consulting services teams to maintain knowledge of service delivery ensuring a quality customer experience</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Act as an interface between sales and consulting services to ensure smooth transitions of opportunities to active engagements</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Author posts for the SpecterOps and BloodHound Enterprise blogs </li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Write and deliver presentations at security conferences</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Support and guide prospects through security reviews and contracting</li>
</ul>
Customer conversations daily will require familiarity with some of the following areas:
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Penetration testing, red team operations, and offensive security techniques </li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Security operations, detection engineering, and program maturity</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Application and network infrastructure and security (Firewall, email security, proxies, etc)</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Cloud infrastructure and applications (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc)</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Common offensive and defensive security tools</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in Security Sales Engineering, Consulting, or other technical, customer-facing roles within the security industry.</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep technical knowledge of offensive and/or defensive security operations.</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to quickly learn new technologies and have an ongoing desire to stay current with the latest technologies.</li>

<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to successfully complete a criminal background investigation.</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Travel: up to 25% </li>
