The Role

As a leader of our data warehouse team, some of the things you’d work on day-to-day include:

• Oversee Sojern’s data ingestion platform, a highly scalable, low latency system that cleans, enriches, and indexes over 100M events per day, from thousands of data sources around the world.

• As a player/coach for this team, you will split time doing both engineering and management.

• Ensure the team follows good software development processes, specifically using an agile (scrum) methodology

• Ensure team members have career growth opportunities

• Work as an liaison with other teams to remove roadblocks and support the team as needed

We’re looking for a Software Engineering Manager who can leverage their prior Ad Tech and engineering experience to take on and lead large projects, from inception to completion. 

The Expertise We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years of team lead/management experience.

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.

• Experience with at least 2 of the following: Golang, Python, React, Node, Javascript/Typescript

• Proficient in SQL: constructing tables, normalization/denormalization techniques 

• Hands on experience with Kubernetes.

• Excellent grasp of CS fundamentals - data structures and algorithms.

• Experience with Distributed Systems.
