As the DFA (Direct From Artists) Program Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of one of Minted’s most strategic growth programs.
In this role, you will have significant exposure to cross-functional teams and have the opportunity to make a large impact as you work to grow new businesses for Minted. You will report into the Senior Director of Merchandising Operations and also work very closely with the Program Manager, Disney & DFA, the Senior Director of Merchandising, the SVP of Partnerships & Artist Relations and the CEO. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to develop a broad set of business skills.
NOTE: this position can be remote to start, but will ultimately be based in San Francisco, CA once our HQ office reopens.

You Will:
- Manage the day-to-day operational activities of executing the DFA marketplace, including SKU setup, imagery, data update and site execution.
- Coordinate updates to the DFA category page, home page module(s) and other site placements for the DFA program.
- Project manage operational tasks for the DFA program, helping the team achieve milestones and revenue targets Partner with platform company on vendor-facing documentation and FAQs, troubleshoot vendor needs to optimize product pages.
- Partner with Program Manager, DFA and category merchants to onboard exceptional artisans and brands for the Direct From Artist program that meet the Minted bar for excellent design and quality. Maintain database of target artists, update and report on pipeline status.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Artist Recruitment: Maintain database of target artists, update pipeline status.
- Assortment launch: Alpha phase - SKU set-up, imagery, data tickets/ Once platform is live - troubleshooting support for vendors (akin to “artist inbox” on community team).
- Customer experience: Support DFA Manager in managing site experience e.g. OOS.
- Vendor management: Manage deployment of vendor tools and inserts, ensure vendor compliance to policies and processes Create and update vendor FAQs.
- Reporting & Analytics: Maintain dashboards and reporting, perform ad hoc analyses.

You Have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree and 2-3 years of work relevant experience in e-commerce, merchandising, retail, art & design and/or category management. Experienced in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- A love for design and strong quantitative skills.
- An intuitive understanding of not only what will sell, but also what constitutes truly differentiated and high-quality design.
- A love for data and the ability to analyze a problem, using data to articulate a recommendation, and take action accordingly.
- Experience in e-commerce and understanding of e-commerce performance metrics and conversion drivers are a plus.
- Experience in marketplace models and vendor management is a plus.
- A clear understanding of Minted’s crowdsourcing model and how it differs from traditional retail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
