ABOUT THE JOB
The Creative Studios's mission is to make Instacart one of the world's most beloved and recognizable brands. Through outstanding brand design, marketing design, and copywriting, our goal is to evolve the world's perception of our relationship to food and grocery shopping—and make sure that shines through every creative touchpoint our audiences experience.
Instacart is looking for an experienced Social Designer to drive creative for Instacart's social channels. You will work with the Social Media Manager to define approaches and guide external partners. Most importantly, this role will make engaging social moments that invite the world to share the love of food.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams to build Instacart into a world-class brand through social campaigns
- Concept and create high-level ideas that communicate Instacart value props to a wide variety of audiences via social media
- Create consistent visual executions across various social media platforms
- Build process with marketing and product partners to ensure quality in all aspects of creative execution
- Partner with Social Media Manager to plan, concept and design social content
- Stay up to date and be aware of the latest industry and social trends
ABOUT YOU
- A portfolio of thoughtful, polished, world-class social work for noteable brands with mass appeal
- Clear, strategic thinking and process skills for developing social marketing strategies and approaches
- A player/coach mentality. You’ve got senior level skills and can help your teammates get better (and vice versa)
- Is familiar with photography and video production and knows how to bring motion to conceptual ideas
- Experience working on creative across social media channels
- Organizational skills and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience using data, research, and insights to make brand and design decisions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Graphic Design or a similar major is preferred)

- An excellent communicator, storyteller, comfortable in a high-velocity startup
- A digital native, knowing at any given moment what the conversation is and where it is being had
- Passionate about building the Instacart brand
