About the Role


Reporting to the Director, Brand Marketing, the Sr. Manager, Partnership Marketing is responsible for pitching, creating, implementing and managing external marketing partnerships for MasterClass.  The ideal candidate will leverage strong strategic marketing skills and experience leading campaigns with and for key partner projects and initiatives. This person must be a strong leader with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and be able to thrive in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.  This role must be a champion for MasterClass consumers, members and an advocate for our brand in everything that they touch.


Responsibilities 

  • Pitch, manage, and execute partner campaigns delivering results that exceed expectations.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships and communications with identified strategic partners to develop initiatives that are mutually beneficial in driving business priorities as well as partner priorities
  • Craft marketing strategies and insights driven campaign briefs that inspire brand defining work.
  • Lead end-to-end brand campaigns  working closely with cross-functional teams (i.e. Internal and external partners including Media agencies, PR, cross functional channel owners and product) to ensure projects stay on track and on strategy 
  • Partner with cross functional team members and external partners to continuously test, measure the effectiveness of and optimize partner marketing and brand campaign initiatives.
  • Create and present thoughtful plans to the broader marketing team ensuring that cross-channel partners have the detailed information needed for successful launches across Brand led initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a marketing, promotions or partnership leading campaign and project strategy and execution.
  • Experience working in retail, media, content or a consumer lifestyle brand preferred.
  • Previous experience crafting campaigns with and for high profile partners and talent preferred
  • Strong organization, presentation and writing skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, work effectively cross-functionally.
  • Creative instincts/confidently have a recommendation or strong POV
  • Experience and eagerness to leverage data to make decisions. Ability to identify and interpret patterns from a blend of qualitative and quantitative data points.
  • Excellent communicator, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and to problem solve.
  • Able to prioritize projects and manage time accordingly.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or related discipline.
