About the team:
We are looking for brilliant software engineers who have a passion for consumer products and want to join an energetic team that is changing the way people think about travel. We ship code daily, A/B test extensively, and have a primary role in creating the product from inception to implementation. <ul>

<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Fluent in at least one language - e.g., Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, database concepts, distributed systems, and search.</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you.</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Enjoy solving problems and helping others meet their goals.</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience with logging, monitoring and alerting systems and tools.</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Passionate about search, streaming, database or other backend technologies.</li>

The SF base salary target range for this full-time position is $174,000 - $218,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in San Francisco, CA. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
